How To Calculate The Volume Of A Parallelepiped

The volume of a parallelepiped is calculated by multiplying the area of the bottom face and the height of the parallelepiped. The formula is given by:

V = S * H where S is the area of the bottom face and H is the height

How To Calculate The Area Of A Parallelipiped

There are two types of area namely Lateral Surface area and Total Surface area. The formula for calculating the Lateral Surface area of a parallelepiped is given by:

Perimeter of the base × Height

To calculate the Total surface area, we find the product of perimeter of the base and the height of the 6 parallelograms faced prism. The formula is given by:

TSA = LSA + 2 Base Area
