The Jamb cut off mark and departmental cut off marks differ and the departmental cut-off mark for a course is determined by the faculty the department falls under and the general cut off mark is determined by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board annually so please all interested applicants should take note of that.

The cut-off mark for admission into the Benue State University is 160 so applicants are urged to score 160 and above before they can become eligible to apply for admission into the Benue State University. Finally, candidates should note that meeting the departmental and general cut-off mark does not guarantee admission because they are other things that one should possess such as the O’level requirements, and age requirements of the institution.
