Recently it was announced by the federal government that primary and secondary schools will be made to deliver Maths and Science education in the country in local Nigerian languages. This policy proposal if implemented will bring about a significant shift in the Nigerian education system.
What do you think about the proposal?

Already there's the national curriculum that's recognised by the govt, so is there still any need for adopting from other countries? Also, should educators not be spending more time looking into the national curriculum of the country, critiquing it and proffering solutions, making suggestions and organising conferences, seminars, writing newspaper articles...on issues that relate to it and advancing the national curriculum?

What are your views on the use of foreign curriculums in schools in Nigeria?
